Before setting up his own practice, Steve Fraser worked for RPS Consultants, the Scottish Environment Protection Agency and Cunninghame District Council with more than two decades of professional experience.

Planning Inquiry experience includes acting as Expert Witness on odour, dust and noise from waste management facilities, road traffic pollution, odour from WWTW, noise and dust from mineral extraction, noise from pubs and restaurants, railway noise affecting housing, and livestock odour.

Clients include Able UK, Aldi, Bowater Building Products, I & H Brown, the Dundas Trust, East Riding of Yorkshire, Eden Waste Recycling, Fife Council, Goldfinch Estates, the Highways Agency, Morrison Construction, Montpellier Plc, North Ayrshire Council, Northern Ireland Roads Service, and Scottish Water.

In addition to attending numerous local planning inquiries, Steve has also advised clients in negotiations between developers and planning authorities to secure planning permission with reasonable, necessary, and enforceable conditions. Steve has also considerable experience in working with planners and Counsel, helping them identify weaknesses in opposition cases for cross examination at inquiry.
